Benefits and Risks of Cancer Treatments

This Cancer Research UK funded programme provides information to help clinicians make treatment decisions.

Our studies arise from clinical problems facing patients and clinicians in the treatment of early invasive breast cancer, in-situ breast cancer, lymphoma and other cancers. For many cancers multiple options are available, and selecting the best is often difficult.

Our team includes expertise in:

  • Epidemiology and statistics
  • clinical and surgical oncology
  • radiotherapy physics
  • computing and information technology
  • partnership with patient representatives

 Team members are at various career stages and we provide training and support to help them develop into the cancer research leaders of tomorrow.
