Jake Probert
Medical Statistician and DPhil Student
Jake is a medical statistician working in a Cancer Research UK research programme on the benefits and risks of breast cancer treatments at the Clinical Trials Service Unit & Epidemiology Studies Unit (CTSU).
He is primarily involved in observational studies of breast cancer and lymphomas to provide information that can be used by clinicians in clinics.
Since 2022, Jake is also undertaking a part-time DPhil at Oxford Population Health. He aims to provide the information to make appropriate decisions regarding radiotherapy when treating early breast cancer.
He completed his undergraduate degrees in mathematics and statistics at the University of Warwick, and his MSc in medical statistics at the University of Leicester, before joining CTSU in 2018.
