Senior Analyst/Programmer

Sonja is a senior analyst programmer in the Clinical Trials Unit. She joined the department in 2016 and has since worked on developing software in support of clinical trials ORION4, EMPA-Kidney and AscendPlus and software for the UK Biobank project. Sonja is responsible for various Extract-Load-Transform type of back-end applications and web services. She is also responsible for the set of programs code named Achilles for exchanging data between Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and the clinical trials’ information systems.

Before this position, Sonja worked as a software engineer in a variety of environments and on a variety of types of software including anti-virus, industrial computing and IoT.

Sonja holds a BSc in Electronics and an MSc in Industrial Control Systems from University of Belgrade, Serbia, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
