Ryoki Arimoto

Clinical Research Fellow

Ryoki joined the Heart and Renal Studies Group at CTSU in February 2024 as a clinical research fellow on an 'out-of-programme research' basis working on EMPA-KIDNEY and other new emerging renal trials (including EASi-KIDNEYTM trial currently in set-up). He will also be working towards completion of a higher degree during his time at CTSU.

Ryoki studied medicine at King’s College London and graduated in 2014. He started his clinical career in the South West at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust completing his foundation training and gaining further experience in intensive care medicine.

He moved to the Oxford Deanery in 2017 for core medical training and moved onto higher specialty training in nephrology and intensive care medicine in 2019.
