Automated Chemistry Laboratory Manager

Louise joined the Clinical Trial Service Unit & Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU) in February 2021 and is the Automated Chemistry Laboratory Manager for the Wolfson Lab at Oxford Population Health.

She is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations using approaches compliant with the standards of ISO 17025:2017 and supports testing for clinical trials. 

Louise has previously worked for 19 years in the NHS as a HCPC registered biomedical scientist and senior biomedical scientist. Her background is in clinical biochemistry, supporting clinicians and troubleshooting technical issues. She has a particular interest in Myeloma and cryoproteins.

She holds a BSc in Forensic science with Criminology and an MSc in Biomedical Science.
