Statistical programming training fellow

Kuangyi joined NDPH in 2023 as a statistical programming training fellow under the supervision of Associate Professor Derrick Bennett. The aim of the Statistical Programming Training Fellowship scheme is to provide training in applied statistical programming, analytic and transferable skills, in preparation for the broader requirements of a career as a statistical scientist. 

Before joining NDPH, Kuangyi obtained a Master’s degree in Health Modelling from the University of Oxford, with her dissertation focusing on the pharmacometric evaluation of antimalarial drugs. She also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, during which she was actively involved in optimising algorithms for deep-learning-based image analysis projects in health applications.
