David Cutter is a clinical oncologist and associate professor. He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge (1994-2000) and trained in Oncology at the Oxford Cancer Centre.
In 2008 he joined the Clinical Trial Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU) to study for a DPhil on the late cardiovascular effects of cancer treatments. In 2013, he was appointed as a consultant clinical oncologist at the Oxford Cancer Centre and continues to work within Oxford Population Health as co-investigator on a Cancer Research UK research programme investigating the benefits and risks of cancer treatments.
He leads studies into the benefits and risks of lymphoma treatments, through a range of national and international collaborations, working within a multi-disciplinary team that includes epidemiologists, statisticians, medical physicists, other clinicians, patients and members of the public.
His overall aim is to provide high quality information to enable doctors and patients to make the best decisions regarding their individual lymphoma treatment and aftercare.
