Dr Matthew Arnold
Matthew Arnold is a Statistical Programmer in CTSU, working on projects that investigate causes of cardiovascular disease and dementia in the UK and China Kadoorie Biobank populations. Additionally, Matthew is the creator of the Jasper R package, a system for creating standardised high-quality figures suitable for publication, which is now in use across NDPH.
Matthew has a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Bristol and an MMath from the Durham University, and joined CTSU in 2014.
