DPhil Student

Fiona joined the CTSU as a DPhil student in 2018. Her research will use data from the UK Biobank to investigate the mechanisms by which fruit and vegetable consumption relate to cardiovascular disease. Research interests include how diet relates to health, with a particular interest in the implications for Public Health recommendations.

Prior to commencing her DPhil, Fiona completed the MSc in Global Health Science at the University of Oxford. Her background is in clinical medicine, having graduated with an MBBS from St Georges, University of London in 2013.
